All The King’s Daughters
-
Cherise
Runie was the youngest of her father’s daughters—adventurous, free, thrill-seeking, risk taking, creative, and approachable. She knew what it was like to live life on her own terms. Nothing was missing from her life, but she wanted more. It drove her. Her father always said she would do something special one day. She just didn’t know it would impact so many people.
-
Zoe
Micky was the middle daughter and she played the role well. She always felt different, but didn’t really know why. She found comfort in solitude. She wondered why her father trusted her so much. In fact, she had no idea why he thought she knew what to do in times she could barely put one foot in front of the other. Her sisters kept her grounded. That also meant that she rarely met a person she wouldn’t try to relate to. They were all so different.

Sofia
Lovia was the oldest daughter. She never felt that way though because she grew up with a cousin who was two months older. They were more like siblings than cousins. They went everywhere together. She felt safe with him. Lovia was a rebel. She hid it well on the surface, but there was always some lingering longing that opposed her father’s wishes. She wanted to be her own person. She would do her best to get as far away from him as possible.
All The King’s Daughters (Book 1)
The girls were excited about moving to a new city. Their father told them about the move two years earlier. At first, they were sad about losing friends, changing schools, and starting over. They began to settle into the thought of moving when they realized that the city they loved so much growing up had changed forever. Nothing would ever be the same. All of them were out of high school and Lovia would graduate college in the Fall. They were beginning to paint an exciting picture of their future. Nothing could prepare them for what they would encounter in their new city.
